Which song do you want to hear in Paul McCartney’s performances in Japan? (But a song is limited to those were never played in his concert in a solo era.)

Since Paul McCartney’s Japan Tour for the first time in 11 years has decided, as one of project by Japanese fans, I conducted the vote of the song we want to request to Paul. The songs are from solo era Paul has not played live before. This project started from 2010, and I renewed it as his Japan tour decided. The vote started from September 13, 2013 (Friday) to one month prior to the Japan tour , October 12, 2013 (Saturday).

769 total votes gathered, and the No.1 is

” No More Lonely Nights “

I think most hits in the 1980s are popular but Paul does not play live recently.

Now,  I will continue to appeal to McCartney side by ways described below;

/Twit to Paul’s official account and band members. /Write a letter to a certain fan club of Japan. /Write a letter to Marshall Arts and Kyodo Tokyo. /Write letters to the office of the music publisher MPL (London and New York) /Write a letter to Paul’s home in London /Post a message to Paul’s official account (twitter, Google and youtube, so on)

We have continued to appeal until the last Japan tour, but the dream did not come true. So I have decided to appeal again to McCartney side, hoping that Paul would play the no.1 song “No More Lonely Nights”

Here’s an announcement I started this poll.

Finally, Paul McCartney’s Japan tour was announced for the first time in 11 years. When Paul come and see to play, many Japanese fans seem to think they want to hear rare Wings and solo stuff, especially songs that Paul have not played live before. In his Ukraine performances in June 14th 2008, there are similar kind of votes by fans and Paul did play the winner ” Mrs. Vandebilt.” Therefore, I planned this project, and we would like to request the No.1 song of the poll in various ways to the Paul McCartney! I believe if Paul would understand Japanese fans, it would not be unachievable! Please select from the column box. /Only one vote pre a person. This system allows you to vote only one for the same IP address. /Choose the songs from solo era (since 1970, including Wings era) Paul never played at the concert. Songs he had played on only live TV programs are included in the target. /Songs were selected from top 20 from old project which began in 2010. This time I add one special song “Uncle Albert / Admiral Halsey” Paul said he received requests from audience in his recent interview. Choose from these 21 tracks. /Voting deadline is until (October 12th 2013). One month before the Japan tour. I’m just one of fans and have no connection with Paul’s side (Please let me know if you have it), so I try to contact with him below. /Twit to Paul’s official account and band members. /Write a letter to a certain fan club of Japan /Write a letter to Marshall Arts /Write letters to the office of the music publisher MPL (London and New York) /Write a letter to Paul’s home in London /Post a message to Paul’s official account (twitter, Google and youtube, so on) * If you agree with me or support me, please e-mail me. I will let you know the destination of the letter. I have success in requesting “Calico Skies” first performance in Osaka in Nov. 2002. I also have requested “Maybe I’m Amazed” in London, Apr. 2003. In recent years, I have successfully requested “Ram On” in Cardiff, Wales in June 26th 2010, that was his first performance! *Steve Marinucci, a famous Beatle examiner wrote up this project several years ago. http://www.examiner.com/article/mccartney-news-briefs-japanese-fans-make-unusual-choice-for-song-to-hear-live-more-on-philly# *Reiko Yukawa, who has a strong connection with the promoter Kyodo Tokyo, promised me that she would tell this project to the staff of Kyodo Tokyo. presented by Jash’s Homepage http://pmccartney.com
